Been debating a headache rack for my truck for a couple months now. Always have a fear of the kayaks or something going through the window. Narrowed down to either a Westin or a custom manufactured one. I currently have a Diamondback cover, which I love, so need something that can accommodate and I'm not feeling their proprietary one. Anyone else running headache racks? Like/Dislike? Worth it?

Well, just took some measurements.... unless its a custom manufacture....the premade ones won't fit with my cover. Still.....anyone running one?

I too keep considering a headache rack. When we go to our cabin in Quebec (before the idiot Trudeau locked their border down) they required you to transport propane cylinders upright. The first year i brought my brand new truck we had to grab a cylinder and i was paranoid about shattering the new back windshield going down the logging roads to the cabin...

I keep going back to a headache rack/chase rack combo sine i do'nt see using a rooftop tent with the growing family.

I also have a Diamondback. Could have sworn they sold one for their covers?? Maybe not, I will look. I've only fractured my rear window once! Having one might be nice. I have a guy that could build one but I'm sure a nice aluminum one would be pricey.

They do but I'm not a fan of the designs they have and they are pricey compared to similar designs from other manufacturers.
