Has anyone used a Hitchgate? Feedback?

I still say build your own. You could buy a welder and build it cheaper than you could buy one. Then you can customize it to your needs.

There's more than $400 in raw steel and final coatings sunk into most decent bumpers.

A whole bumper, yes, a receiver mounted swing gate though uses less steel for sure. I spent about $400 on my swing gate build, I did just prime it and paint it with bed liner though.

I had this one built for me. It mounted to the receiver, had no rattle or wobble. I could stand on the outside edges and it wouldn't even budge.
