Hello everyone.
I am Angel from Los Angeles, West Coast, USA. I live in Los Angeles and experienced a fire that almost made me homeless. I plan to start my travel life.
I have been to most states in the United States and many countries in Asia.
I have a Land Rover and a G63. I have a little off-road experience. But I have no experience driving alone.

Glad you safe. So Cal has tons of trails and locations to explore. I would look at who is the reginal director for your area and get with him for runs and meet ups.

Welcome to OB!

Thank you for the warmth of your hospitality. You and the others have been so friendly and have made me feel the cozy atmosphere of this place

Hello Angel,

Glad you avoided the fire. Start a thread tell us about your Rover.

I'm a Rover guy, Mine is a 1960 Series 2, 109.
Thank you for your concern. Yes I was lucky to have dodged a bullet.
I've just gotten here. My question is how do I start a new topic. Post a mention of a new one on my home page or forum?

Angel,
I do all my stuff on a laptop so phones may look different.

There is a How To tab just below the Overland Bound logo in the upper left corner.

When I click on the Forums tab across the top and scroll down there are all the different topics to post in. Click the one you want and at the top of the threads will be yer logo and a blank start for a new thread.

We have a monthly overlanding group meetup every third Thursday in the San Gabriel Valley at 6PM.

More info about our meetups can be found here.

We have about two dozen active members and about half of us make it to these meetups. We also try to arrange a group trip each month. This time of year it is desert oriented trips such as Anza Borrego, Death Valley, etc.

Sounds great, it's a great way to share offline and make better suggestions. It makes a lot of sense.

Angel you might. want to combine your two identical posts.
As for the pictures on your build thread just use the Attach files button at the lower left corner of the thread

Thanks for letting me know. I've been looking for a way to do this with no success I've deleted a lot of posts.

Hello and welcome. I am part of the San Gabriel Valley Overland Bound. We meet the third Thursday of every month at the Clearman's Boat in Rosemead at 6:00 pm. Dinner together and discuss upcoming trips. We are a very active group and all are welcome regardless of experience or vehicle. Please feel free to join us. We are heading out this weekend to Anza Borrego for some off road travel and camping.

Hi Angel, your story is inspiring! Starting your travel life sounds amazing. Solo off-roading can be thrilling—consider joining off-road clubs, taking safety courses, and planning routes carefully. Safe travels!

Welcome to the Overland Bound Community. Glad to have you join us.
