Ok, had to beat my chest a bit. Midland MXT575 to a 3db ghost antennae. Roof top mounted to bars with ground strap from base to rooftop. PL259 and SO239 solder on connections at splice point. I can't really complain about these numbers a bit. Figured the comm gods were smiling today and had to share.
