US Northwest Ghost River PLUZ (and thank you)

don't worry about the limit. if we had a full list and had folks messaging me it'd be different, but we're good.

Sucks about the tent! hopefully they can get it turned around in a reasonable timeframe! All the spots I intend to camp will have plenty of room for the gazelle if push comes to shove
I guess I am just feeling a bit deflated.

I bet! but there's still a little over 2 weeks, plenty of time for them to make it right... and I'm definitely willing to help mount up (off on the 18th so can even help mount it up day of departure if needs be)

Hi all, I may have to back out as well. I really need to replace parts of my suspension and lift my FJ before I go. Not sure there is enough time between now and then. Also, I was just up in Canada. Bear spray is definitely OK to take. They want you to declare it but never asked to look at it. I went thru Porthill (above Bonners Ferry) and Frontier (above Northport) with no issues at all. We were overlanding from Kaslo over to Lake Christine and saw 4 black bears and 1 grizzly, so definitely bring bear spray!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya! but glad to hear you'll add a small lift to the FJ (honestly you're probably lower than stock because of age of your suspension and weight) make sure you calculate the weight of your full time load into what springs you buy! if you go Dobinson springs try the dual rate (soft at first for small bumps, firms up as the bumps/weight increase. it's what I'm going to on the LC when I get a chance)

Hey!
This looks like a great trip. I'm glad there was still space available.
One Question - One Offer

1. Any chance we can make a 15 minute stop at the Banff NP Visitor Center? (assuming we will be driving past or near it)
2. If you need an extra set of hands to mount that tent I saw in the forum, I can get there early on the 18th.
