Geeks in Jeeps DMR TalkGroup #31773

I dont own a jeep, but like the idea for the talk group; 4x4ing etc

so far I've only meet Gary KG5NBA on the TG

the other one I came across too is outdoor adventure group 31772

theres a net on there 10am PST each Saturday and at 12:30pst there is supposed to be a 4x4 net

has anyone used these talkgroups?

Reviving this old thread in Oct. 2022. I think Geeks in Jeeps is defunct now; it doesn't show up in Brandmeister's master talkgroup list any longer, and when I had it programmed up there was never anything on it in the year-plus I had it in my codeplug.

There's a somewhat active talkgroup called Venture Overland, Brandmeister 31655. Mike, AA1PR is on a lot and I'm in there from time to time when I have the DMR radio on, which admittedly isn't often these days since I'm working 70+ hour weeks. I think the overland community definitely needs a dedicated talkgroup to be a common meeting place on the air.
