So..generally speaking, what are the common size of the pelican or plano cases used on most roof racks.

Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

I find the Plano Sportsman 108qt size to be great. The 56qt size would be good for heavy items.

The older you get, the smaller size (56qt) really come in handy.

I've used the 108 and 56 qt Plano tore up top but between the weight and wind noise I've gone to large Plano Rifle cases, the low profile cuts wind noise and they are deep enough to hold most items, waterproof.
