Garmin Inreach Integration

I just ordered a Garmin Inreach Explorer + and it will be here this week. I'm curious if there is any integration with it? I've got a Fenix 5X watch and the Overlander GPS. I've got no experience with the inreach but I will activate it once it comes as I have a trip next weekend. Can anyone add any insight to this?

The new Garmin Instinct Solar watch as integration with the Garmin Inreach, but their website doesn't specifically say which of their Inreach the new watch works with. My normal Garmin Instinct watch (not solar) does integrate with the Garmin Inreach Mini. I can received Inreach messages and can send SOS via the watch.

There is an inReach Garmin iOS and Android Auto app that you need to use to connect it with the Garmin Overlander, but I can't help as I haven't been able to make it work.

Yeah, the garmin integration of stuff is sketchy. I have an android but they def. need a lesson from apple..
