Hello everyone. I am slowly preparing a trip to Baku by motorcycle from Italy. It will be in May 2027, I will go alone and do wild camping. I have done some wild camp tests to test the equipment and speed up the operations. I have studied as much as possible by documenting the territories I will cross. And I am still evaluating which bike to take. The choice at the moment is between the Honda Africa Twin Adv and the BMW GS900 Adv. But I am also evaluating the Ténéré with an Acerbis tank on it. Finally I have completed the Roadbook. Here is the link to the overall GPX file: maybe there are errors or areas not recommended that you can point out to me from experience. I know well that Azerbaijan is currently closed, but in 3 years who knows. In the meantime I will start preparing the Roadbook with plan B, that is without Azerbaijan. If then things get further complicated in that area (unfortunately likely), I have two other alternatives in mind. An easy one: Scotland. One perhaps worse than Azerbaijan which is Africa (France, Spain, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Italy). Let's see. For now here is the gpx: Greetings to all!

I am just back from a trip via the Balkans, Turkey to the Caucasus and back.
This is a fantastic region for overlanding and travelling.
