Alpicool gets a bad wrap as Chinese junk. They are so bad that my 20L has been running since April 2019 non stop 5 days a week in my work van and the other 2 days in the jeep. It performs so bad I just ordered the 35 to keep on the jeep full time.

I've actually never heard anyone talk down on alpicools...
I have a dometic fridge, junk. Within a year, the cord barely works. I have to place the power cord in the perfect position otherwise it won't power.
My alpicool survived a rollover accident.

I've had a few comments about them over the last few years. The usual is it came damaged (shippers fault), it's too loud and cheap plastic. I'm the odd guy who sleeps in a 2dr JK and it sits right next to my head quiet enough to sleep by. I have dropped it several times and it just keeps running.
