Fort Bragg area

We are doing a tour of coastal CA in June. Have most places to camp figured out and should be fine. We are struggling around Fort Bragg though. Any ideas outside of established campgrounds? Doesn't look like much if any dispersed camping in that area. Any advice would be great. And hey if anyone wants to join let me know. Thanks

Usal Beach and Usal Road are about the only off-road driving in that area along the coast. Check out the Lost Coast 4x4 Trail at OTG. If you can pop over to Ukiah, there is Cow Mountain OHV and you're relative close to Snow Mountain NM and Mendocino NF, but then you're definitely not on the coast.

We are doing Usal and following most of the Lost Coast trail from the trail guides. Staying on the coast though so I’ve just been piecing together a route and Fort Bragg was the last connection to figure out. Ended up getting a site at Mackerricher for a quick overnight. Not ideal but it will work
