Letting go of our family overland rig — a one-owner 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 4x4 144”, fully built by The Vansmith in Boulder, Colorado.
~36,000 miles, clean title, located in Colorado Springs.
Asking $159,900, serious offers considered. Independent appraisal came in at $164,311 in June 2026. We are about $235,000 all-in on the van and build.
We built this van to take the whole family off the pavement without giving up comfort, range, or reliability. It seats four, sleeps four, and is capable well beyond where most camper vans turn around — one of the last true selectable low/high-range 4x4 Sprinters before Mercedes moved to AWD.
Highlights:
The kids are outgrowing the bunks and our priorities are shifting, so it is time to pass this on to another family or crew that will use it the way it was built to be used.
