Day trips on the trails I've done MREs. They're not that bad!!!

Low carb/keto, nothing beats the cheesewich. Good cheese and some cold cuts with mayo/favorite hot sauce.

What do you all do for food one a day trip? I've been eating bags of beef jerky, but looking for other ideas, I just have a cooler with ice available

Mountain House meals are quick easy meals and great tasting too with very little clean up. Just need heated water. They are freeze dried so no refrigeration needed and very lightweight.
