Wife and I are converting an 08 Chevy Kodiak Ambu into a camper. It's work...

Here are some before and during pics... We've got 960 watts of solar and 2 Tesla battery packs for storage; 12v/24v/110v power and a generator; dual induction cooktop; 12/24/110v Frig; doing a porta potty at this point, but moving to an electric dry compost sort of thing soon I guess. I've got the electrical gutted as much as I need to, now I'm ready to run the circuits I want. I'm tearing into the interior as this point -- but none of this is really my thing, so it's going to be a slow-go for sure. It took me a week just to design and build all my solar mounts, etc - the panels are 2 way tilting, so that is what made it so difficult!

Welcome from Central Texas
That rig should keep you places for weeks.

Welcome from Monument, CO!! Looking forward to seeing you on the trails!

From another FNG in Colorado, that looks like a really fun project!
I recently bought a '95 4Runner for my son - it's amazing what _a lot of elbow grease_ can get done.
Post pics of the inside, too, when you get the chance.

Welcome! You have a project. Looking forward to seeing the progress. I used to live in C Springs. A few lifetimes ago. see ya on the trails.
