Fire Extinguisher selection

A fair amount of discussion has been about our rigs, and our gear, and our stuff that we utilize for safe Overlanding.
Ive noticed that there isn't much being said about Fire Extinguishers.

Is there a definitve answer to the question of, which Fire Extinguisher is the best "all around" Extinguisher we can carry with us?
Class A, B C Halon, Carbon dioxide?

I have a 2.5lbs Halotron in my FJC and am about to mount one in my M416 as well.
The supplied vehicle mounts suck and are loud, I am planning on replacing them with quick fists.

I have a 2.5lb Halotron mounted in the cargo area of my 80 Series. I want to replace it with a 5 and move the 2.5 in reach of the driver's seat.

I had an engine fire total my FJ40 and will never again discharge a chemical agent fire extinguisher on anything unless someone's life depends on it.
