Just finalized my rebuild of an 2004 Forest River 176 ED. I can seemingly go anywhere I want but I am seeking advice on high level leveling and stabilization gear you all love. Likelihood of finding a level spot where I go is zero, got by with jack stands, scissor jacks, wood and plastic blocks but feel this group may have a few tricks. Thanks

Pretty low-tech, but I usually dig a little hole under a wheel, or put a rock under a wheel as needed.

I keep it similar. It is best not to take any additional equipment for such things, which only bring unnecessary weight on the scale. What also works is to take something that you have on board anyway, for example recovery boards.

I carry a pair of GoTreads for leveling.

I too have GoTreads for leveling! It’s a great innovation for both traction boards and leveling. Such a space saver since I don’t have mounts for anything like MaxTrax. Reasonable price point as well. Downside is you can’t use them to bridge/ramp, but will get you out of snow, sand, or mud easily enough.

Good to hear! Yep, they’re pretty handy. I’ve used one under my bottle jack for a bit more lift too. And as a wind break for a small fire. Depending on the tour I may carry recovery boards too. I carry them inside, in a Camp Cover bag, standing on their side, door to door where the rear seat back would be if not folded down or removed. Barely fits. I can grab them out of the bag from either side, rear passenger window.
