Since I am super lazy, the idea of mounting RTT to my vehicle every time I am planning to get out of town makes me miserable.
Spending 30-40 minutes every time actually defeats the purpose of the RTT.
Having it on every-day driver will kill the milage.
So, to resolve the problem I was looking at something like
Quick Release Roof Top Tent Mount Kit - Front Runner or Replacement Mounting Bracket for Yakima SkyRise Rooftop Tent Yakima Accessories and Parts 8880735
Those mount brackets will significantly reduce the time required and my impression will require no tools.
Unfortunately the lead time for Yakima brackets manufacturing is more than 2 months and they move the deadline and I did not have any option to see Front Runner brackets in person to assess their quality and ability to use with my RTT.
Would like to request help from the community - could you please share your ideas how you deal with this problem and what tools/mechanisms you use to reduce the mount complexity for your roof top tents.
