We wanted to share our adventure with you through the edges of Colorado, Utah and Arizona.
We were traveling with a 15' Ford F250 and our cargo trailer conversion named The Mini.
We started our trip out of Grand junction, Colorado.
From Grand Junction we traveled south through Gateway, Colorado to the Rim Rocker trail. We took the Rim Rocker trail to Buckeye reservoir, and set up camp for the night.
DAY 2
From Buckeye we followed the Rimrocker back to the pavement and continued south. Somewhere along the trail we picked up a bolt, in the front passenger side tire. It was Sunday and already being south of Monticello we decided to plug the tire and continued on to Montezuma canyon. We traveled through Montezuma canyon stopping along the route to soak up the Native American ruins and art and then headed to Hovenweep National Park. We were fortunate to find a site to camp for the night.
DAY 3
We burned out the morning and part of the afternoon with a nice walkabout in Hovenweep NP, then we headed to Page, AZ to get the tire properly repaired. From Page, we headed to the Kaibab national forest and set up camp for the night.
DAY 4
Grand Canyon time. We spent all day out on the north rim of the Grand Canyon National Park. The views were incredible. This side of the Grand Canyon is nestled in the forest. Much different than the South Rim desert scene.
