Hello guys. I just got a 94 Landcruiser and I'm in need of some work, possibly a complete engine rebuild. I'm in the San Diego area. Any suggestions will be appreciate it. Thank you

What is wrong with it? They aren’t to bad to work on. If you put in some sweat equity, it’ll save you a ton of money.

Hey. Well, it runs but there is a clinking noise coming from the engine block. It may be the chain. There is a lot of leaks so it needs a lot of work. I don't have the tools to take the engine apart. That to me will be the way to work on this project.

Gotcha. I have the front of mine torn down right now doing leaks

Theirs a Cruiser place down there by you. From what I understand their real good.
This thread is two years old but it should be pretty accurate still.
