I have a 2018 GMC Sierra Z71, I'm thinking about possibly upgrading the rear end from the G80 to an Eaton E-locker. The truck will never see any true hardcore wheeling and will only ever run a 33-34" tire. That said it has the 6.2L engine that I plan to supercharge. I know that the G80 seems to do ok if you don't beat on it, but does take some time to actually lock up which is not ideal when wheeling.
