E-locker worth the upgrade

I have a 2018 GMC Sierra Z71, I'm thinking about possibly upgrading the rear end from the G80 to an Eaton E-locker. The truck will never see any true hardcore wheeling and will only ever run a 33-34" tire. That said it has the 6.2L engine that I plan to supercharge. I know that the G80 seems to do ok if you don't beat on it, but does take some time to actually lock up which is not ideal when wheeling.

Especially if you are bumping the horsepower. And an Eaton e-locker will stay engaged on a downhill too.

Yes, I discovered selectable lockers 20 odd years ago. I’ll never own another truck/wagon without them.
