I noticed that my drivers side door doesn’t lock on my 2000 XJ. All the other doors lock when I push the button.

Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Probably the actuator in the door is bad or the wiring could be bad .

Pull the panel and see what's up. Actuator could be bad. Could be the linkage came loose. They're typically held in with a plastic latch kinda deal.
