From what I can understand yellow are members and black are nonmembers but some times I see grey, green and some sort of off shade of yellow what does these colors meen thank you

Michael has a code in the Member Map thread. But that was before the map redesign, and I think it has changed. The other colors are benefactor, contributor, Member, etc., but I don’t recall which. It also used to have a double-sized red pin for your own location, making you easy to find, but that changed, too.

Colours have changed by the look of it. I was a yellow pin, but now a black one, which is a forum member, but not OB member??

When you become a badge-holding Overland Bound Member, you get access to the Map of OB Members . This allows you to see what other Overland Bound members are in your area!

Colors indicate the member status:

1. Platinum - Founder 500
2. Gold - OB Member
3. Bright Yellow - Benefactor
4. Green - Moderator
5. Black - Forum user, not member



There are a few steps to gaining access:
  • You MUST be an OB Member (badge holder) and have your forum account upgraded to "Member" (you will have a gold banner in your forum profile card that says "Member".
  • If you are not a member with an emblem, Go here: OB Member, then contact us to upgrade your forum account.
  • You can now access the Member Map!
  • In your user drop down menu, edit "Personal Details".

So why is mine showing black? Shouldn't I be a Gold? And a quick look at others profiles, there's quite a few that are black when they should be at least Gold.
