DC to Peak of Otter in Virginia.

Hi folks,

I'm doing a family trip from DC to Peaks of Otter in Virginia with my family. Does anyone have any recommendations of trails to check out along the way? Any pointers and recommendations would greatly appreciated. Hope all is well.

I'm not sure about trails but there are plenty of forest service roads along the Blue Ridge Parkway you can ride. There are some near Charlottesville that I've never been on myself that meet-up with the Parkway as well, maybe someone can chime in with more info about them.
