I purchased the Dakota DL+ 12V 60AH battery to replace my failing AGM. Dakota suggested removing my diode added to fully charge my AGM and install a Victron Orion-TR smart 12/12-19A isolated DC-DC charger to protect the alternator from overcharging damage. My intent is to later add another Dakota 54 Ah battery and get rid of my 2 - 500W solar generators currently used to power my refrigerator and camping accessories. Can anyone provide help with installing the DC-DC charger in my configuration. I have looked at several diagrams on the Dakota site, seems to be straight forward but wondering if I am missing something. I also ordered the BATTERY MONITOR & SOLAR INTEGRATION KIT WITH DL DASHBOARD. I assume this will install per instructions directly to the battery and provide no complications with the DC-DC charger. Any thoughts or wiring diagrams/instructions would be appreciated. Thanks
