Currahee!!!

Took the wifey out and about in the North Georgia mountains. We drove to the top of Currahee Mountain. It was my first time driving to the top. I've done a few hike-a-bikes on my mountain bike to the top, and it is no joke. Three (3) miles up, 3 miles down. What a great day to be overland bound.

There are plenty of places around there to camp, but not on Currahee itself.

Currahee! I've run that mountain (on foot) a few times. Great views from up there!! ( I'm actually a Currahee. Assigned to the 506th Regimental Combat Team "Currahee", 101st Airborne between 2004 and 2010.

I'm headed here this weekend to do the 10K run. I was in the Army in the 29th Infantry Division so I'm stoaked!
