Cummins R2.8.

Has anyone purchased and used the new Cummins R2.8? If so, how is it, and was it worth the money?

It is in my plans to do so! I have a 1990 Jeep YJ that will get it in about 2 years when money frees up a bit. I have a buddy who recently put one in his early Bronco and he loves it...and he removed an LS to do it. I have also talked to the owner of Big Willie and he loves it in his rig too...if you haven't seen Big Willie...look it up. It's a hand built WWII Jeep that is 2 times original size...Also, there is a R2.8 Facebook page that you can get info from people who are either done with or part way through the install...can ask lots of questions there.

I put one in my 1978 FJ40 with new Toyota H55F transmission and split transfer case.
