I do, I originally started carrying it for possibly moving a down tree or something. On one trip while Going down a steep trail the rear end slid sideways within inches of a tree and trying to move forward or reverse just made it worse. I used a soft strap around the hitch and the come along to a tree and pulled the rear end over about a foot to get my truck passed the other tree without body damage. That incident definitely opened my eyes to its usefulness when traveling alone. A hi lift jack would’ve done the same thing, but the come along was quicker and easier in that particular situation.

I use a more power puller with synthetic line as my winch, I use it for sawyer work as well. The thing is freaking amazing. I’ve seen many basic come alongside fail so I’d spend the money on a good one.
