So I'm in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado cold-weather camping I'm from the south and I have to say this is the best time of my life! Be careful go at it with some experience and you will be fine

I always enjoy camping in the cold/winter. NO BUGS, nearly no people, you can have camp fires, and it is just plain cool. However the very short days here in the PNW does make for some early nights and limited travel times.

I too love winter camping. Nothing like coffee and Baileys with a winter sunrise.
