Big day out today for Clean Up Australia Day. Met up with OB members Rhys Devery and Aaron Fogarty from RAINGER and hit some tracks around Glasshouse Mountains. Disappointingly, it wasn't hard to find rubbish. Literally a mountain of old tyres and lounges and household junk METRES from the road!!!!
We ended the day with 3 full to the brim trailer loads of rubbish. Guaranteed to have been more. But we were only a small group but I think we made a difference to the area. Can only hope it gets better but the sad reality that people can be pigs can't be ignored either.
Anyway, we came we saw we picked up some trash.
