I got inspiration on this project from a fellow KL owner on Instagram @lbb_overland. No idea if he’s on here or not! Anyways, he made a full bed system out of it but I just made it shorter for only the trunk. Here are some pictures from the process, I still need to actually put the two burner stove on it and fill up the drawer with cooking supplies.

Any chance you know of the weight of the completed dry assembly? Looks good.
Thanks! I’m not sure, based on just me picking it up and putting it in the trunk I’d say it was 60 or so pounds. Not sure where all that weight comes from because it’s just one 4x8 sheet of 3/4” plywood. Currently I have a ratchet strap on the back to keep it from tipping out of the trunk with both drawers open.
