Anyone bring one? Obviously a small one. We have very small one we mess around with. We try to leave a cool bench at our favourite places. Maybe bring some cool wood home. What kind do you use, or not a thing you're into?

the mill is really really simple. runs on a 2x4.

rough cut boards in cedar
and some after the planer. thats at home.
the biggest part is the 2x4. its a foot longer than the boards i want. there have been a very upgrades to the mill system, but the basic saw mount remains the same. beam machine. $40.

I've never seen one that small and simple. Who makes it?

im im canada too. in bc. its called a beam machine. was under $50. i asked at a local chainsaw shop if they could order one. had it in a week. lee valley might? lots of online ordering options if you cant get one through someplace local.
