Thanks. My issue with my chainsaw is I seem to spend more time trying to start it than the cutting ends up taking.

Great Thread!

Just to stir the pot a little, during the dry seasons in New Mexico, the National Forest and State fire bans include most gas powered tools. Electric chainsaws are still permitted.

The Stihl is a beast. But since I already have Milwaukee tools, several batteries, and two chargers, I'll probably go with the Milwaukee since they let you buy just the tool ($275) without the battery or charger. (Though even if starting from scratch, one could buy an extra battery for the Milwaukee for the price difference of the Stihl.) This was the closest I found to an apples-to-apples review:
