So I'm trying to run as much continuous gravel as I can. So far I have almost 70 miles mapped out.

Here's the route so far:
  • Cove Creek Rd and head down into Cataloochie valley and see if there are any Elk to watch.
  • After that, take Cataloochie turnpike to either Old Buzzard Roost 289 or Buzzard Roost 288. I'm leaning to 289.
  • Buzzard Roost across Pigeon River to Brown Gap, via Cold Springs Creek Road
  • Brown Gap up through Martha Sundquist State Forest to Gulf Fork Big Creek
  • Head back East on Chestnut Ridge to Max Patch
  • Head North on Max Patch to Lemon Gap and over to Round Mountain
  • Round Mountain to Wolf Creek Falls through Rattlesnake Gap using Wolf Creek South, heading North
  • TBD (But I think it may be at this point that I may need to hit pavement to get to Hot Springs
Any information on any of these roads or other roads or areas to check out would be appreciated.

Was hoping to find gravel between Hot Springs and Marshall, NC, but that part may be pavement too.
