Mud Flaps:
Ok since i reconfigured the fenders some i felt it a good idea to fab up some mudflaps. I fabbed up some suport arms and bolted them to the frame. The flaps are $2 rear floor mats I got from Autozone.

I tried some hub adapters and got wheels matching the truck's but it just didn't work out yet so I will be contemplating a suspension swap in the future or not it works fine now

New Tires:
So this Spring i worked hard as mentioned earlier and added wheel adapters converting from a 5 lug to a 6 lug and I got a set of matching tundra wheels for the camper. I got everything installed but just couldn't bring myself to trust the hub adapters. I was proven correct when removing them as a bolt on each side stripped out and had to be drilled. I just went back to the stock wheels for now but upped the tire size from 208/75/15's to 235/75/15's. they are a bit lrger and helped level the camper with the truck. Increasing the size of the spare I had to readjust the table for th rear but no biggie.

Well that pretty much catches me up on a build for in here. I didn't post pics from all our little adventures as I would have been doing this for much longer. I will from now on though starting this weekend. i can't wait to get out there.

Pachahontas State Park:

We got away for one last weekend. This was a fresh new adventure for us. No fun off roading but someplace we had never been.
The park is beautiful and camping very well laid out with a great mix between open grassy areas and completely wooded lots. Miles of hiking and biking trails and a lake to kayak in. We didn’t adventure much we were there more to get away, forget life for a bit and relax.

Got away for our first trip for the year. We decided to try and hit every camp site in the Shenandoah national park. We had already been th Mathews Arm a few times so we tried Lewis mountain the smallest site on the drive. The Park's camp sites are only serving at a 50% capacity right now so we certainly weren't cramped. It rained on us some but we were prepared, solar worked great, and great food. Lots of wild life and beautiful scenery.

Remote Solar:

I have had the 2 100 watt fixed panels on the roof for a couple of years now. They feed 2 group 31 AGM batteries and we have never run out of power, so far. We have noticed that in some spots you are victim to shade, kind of a double edged sword in the summer heat. Or, the angle of the panels isn't productive for a full charge.
We decided to invest in a "suitcase" set of solar panels to use in conjunction with the ones we have. We got the Renogy 100watt set with 20' extension cables so now we can follow the sun. They work great and with all combined we are fully charged in an hour or less.

Loft Mountain Shenandoah National Park:

We tried a different part of the park. What a blast the most private sites we have been in in National or State parks. Plenty of wildlife and almost couldn't even see any other campers. There for 3 days and the only resource available was restrooms we are completely self sufficient but use restrooms when available it's just easier.

It was so hot we had to take a shower. There for 3 days that's too long in the heat without cleaning. I got 2 Scepter 20L water cans before we went plus the 4 gal can we carry. The Scepter can warmed up nicely in the sun. We both took showers and still had about 2 gallons left in that can. Luxury? Maybe but it sure makes it more enjoyable. Yeah she was funny all excited about trying the new shower system out

Great write up all the way around. I am not sure that anyone can find an off-road trailer that will fit their exact needs, and your mods look well thought out and creatively put into place. Really liked the rear awning hack you used. I have an 270 degree but wont always pull it out because it can be painful to put away.

Thanks I think I have more fun working on the camper than the truck. I can be more creative anyway
