It is going to be punishment! 6k miles 14 days. Insanity. Some days will be 12 hr minimum behind the wheel. There will be LOTS OF PICTURES on my trip page.

Absolutely - right now the current planned track is gravel track forestry road.

I already posted the current plan - Pineola Road - in the Downloadable Maps section of the forums. You can find it here. But we are checking out an alternate route - this weekend or next. So far we know we are doing a trip. We know it will be in this general Pisgah Area. We just need to nail down the route.

I can't ride with you, but I will be at the Wilson's Creek visitors center on Brown Mountain Beach road that weekend. Having a CW reenactment there both days. Enjoy, and stop by.

Just an update - we think we have identified a better trail! We will know for sure after this weekend but we have a target in Dupont State Forest that we are going to check out. Stay tuned!
