Successful journey to the cape with OB#14245 wander_over_there and several other friends.

Whoa, if I had known about this, I could have attended. The NC coast and barrier islands have great scenery.

I took the bridge to NC 12 and drove Corolla Beach last year. My ma and I laughed at all the built trucks sinking into the ground while my stock Explorer ripped by on road tires... Deep treads and sand don't mix well!

Hey DintKnobs thanks for the reply. This was a last minute post as I’ve just signed up for OB. There will be lots more trips to the cost and the mountains. Adventure awaits - stay tuned!

Hanging out at the southern point Cape Lookout today. There may have been some howling at the full moon last night…

Gonna get the fly rods out with wander_over_there and see if we get any hits.

I saw this while we were at Charlotte races last weekend and caught myself trying to rearrange my life so I could go back. Was there in November. Just too short notice :(
