Anyone have a solution for capping a wiring harness for off road lights? I've got some floods mounted to my cargo basket and want to take it off for the Chicago winter. Problem is the wiring harness attached to my load bars and obviously don't want to leave the connection point/harness exposed to the elements or remove the wires altogether. Was told that nobody makes a plastic cap to snap in place of the connector (take note entrepreneurs!). Looking for a better solution than plastic, electrical tape and zip ties...thanks!

If you are already utilizing a weatherproof connector for your harness there are several ways to achieve this. Mauser connectors have marine sealing covers typically, vs amp connectors which typically employ a standard body filled with blanking seals in place of the typical wire seals. The type of cover to weatherproof the harness is determined by the connectors used in the harness when it was built.

If your harness was built without using weatherproof connections, I'd start with replacing those.

Example delphi cap-

Thanks for the reply! I've got KC C-Series square floods and am waiting for them to reply as well. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.
