camp canada crown land

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

That new BC Discovery tool is neat! I moved from BC the summer before last, so I wasn't aware of it. I always used the interactive land use map, which does load a little bit faster, and can be found here:

Alberta has a similar map, however it's way less intuitive and user friendly, so I've never been able to get it to work to display where the crown parcels are. In Alberta, every county publishes a land title map of their own that is usually in PDF format and shows the various land parcels, sometimes with owner names, which can be helpful if you want to request access to a piece of private land. If you search the county name followed by Land Title Map, they're usually easy to find.
