I just picked up a 2015 suburban 53K miles. Wrecked and salvage tittle. Perfect starting point. I am looking for after market heavy bumpers. Trying to keep my cost low.. I see tons of stuff for a Chevy silverado. I believe it's the same rig. Has anyone used a silverado bumper on a suburban??

Hi Donald,

Welcome to Overland Bound! And congrats on the new rig.

I cannot help with the initial question but I guess this thread would be better in the Overland Gear subforum or so. As this subforum here is for requests for mechanical support, recovery, shelter or other assistance.

@Jim SoG What do you think? Move it there?

Anything will fit with enough will power, a cutoff wheel and a welder. Jeep wranglers and Jeep patriots have nothing in common, but I made it work.

I have a day job so no time convert my spare 71 GTO bumper into a Suburban bumper.. looking to part with some cash and save sweat.
