Its now been a few weeks since we made the move from Valemount BC to Clinton BC, and its taken a bit to get settled in, but the last few days we've had time to get some exploring in. We drove the big bar road to the jesmond road, which basically is a big loop around that started and ended in Clinton, from these roads you can really wander a long ways all on dirt roads. You can head north to Williams Lake or 100 mile house, you can take the big bar ferry west across the Fraser river, our head south over to the village of Pavilion. There is another loop you can add into the ones we drove, and that would be the high bar road, which from the way we did the loop you would turn west off the Jesmond road towards the big bar ferry, and follow the high bar road, this in turn will take you south along the river before heading east over a small pass back to the Jesmond. Some of these pictures were taken near the top of steep section of the high bar road, there is a wide spot at the top where you will see a trail headed off. its a short few minute walk to this view point over looking the mighty Fraser river. If your traveling through BC and don't have this area on your map I would highly recommend you add it, you can drop us a DM if you need any more info.⠀ Have you traveled the back roads around Clinton before? Leave a comment if you have.⠀

A few KM up the Clinton Pavilion road from the Pear lake road, we took a road that led up to a spot with four different radio towers.
