Black bear pass

I'm going to Colorado in October (anyone's welcome to join), and one of our stops is black bear pass.
Is there any other really cool spots we should check out while in the area?

I love technical trails, but our weakest link will be a 2023 4runner on 33s and rear lockers.

You are unfortunately SOL on Black Bear Pass this year. I think it's normally closed by October but either way, it's done for the season due to a mudslide. Odds are Imogene is done for the season too.
Man that's such a bummer!

This is a non issue. I've run tons of trails on 28-29s and a front lunchbox locker, and the front locker probably wasn't even needed, but I like having it, so I can be more deliberate with my line selection. Folks put too much stock in mods, when a driver mod is really what's needed in most cases.
