Black badges?

Yeah, that turned out great @Cosmo_Kraner ! I placed the OB emblem where the Trail Rated emblem was on my Jeep (which was blacked out). I may end up doing this as much as I'd hate to lose the number..
Thank you! Yeah I wanted to keep the number but not more than I wanted it black lol. Just flat black rust oleum.
I know this is an older thread but it is the first one that shows when searching for black badges.
I tried used gun blue on mine and it didn't do anything (are these covered in a clear coat?) so then tried aluminum black which did turn my member number black.
I then decided to use the Dupli-Color Shadow kit I had left over from blacking out chrome badges on my other car.
I'm happy with the results and trying to decide if I should do the same with my second badge or leave the number as is before using the shadow kit.
