So, looking for recommendations for a radio. I done lots of research but I’m just looking for one that is NOAA capable, and can work with a good distance (of course with the right wiring, antenna and so on..)

I am assuming you are looking for a CB radio? Uniden Bearcat 980SSB is a great CB with all the NOAA WX Chanel’s. I have this in my Jeep and it is a fantastic performer.

If talking CB, I really like my Galaxy 959... but a Simple Uniden 510 XL Pro is a good little radio as well... really with CB you are just paying for the bells and whistles...

If you're not looking for a CB yet, but rather a handheld with a vehicle charger for extended trips -- what would you all recommend?
