Good day guys,

So for a few years now we have been using a flat pack fire pit BBQ thingy from APB trading and it have done rather well but now we are looking to get something new. (see photo)

What has finally finished off the pit is the heat for fires and buckled all of the sides and is falling apart and it is not off the ground. I have made a stand for it but its not the best as it just sits on and would like it to be built onto the next one.

I like the look of the Bush Pig but also been looking at some of the Gear and Go stuff.

What do you have?

Nice setup. Thanks for sharing. We have a dismountable firepit from relleumdesign. The firepit is very sturdy and comparable small in pack size. For cooking or barbeque we use a tripod and a grill grate.

We use the Bushpig, great for cooking on and turns into a small fire once cooking has finished by putting small logs on the hot embers.
Packs up small and is off the ground in use. Never buckled yet, and we've had some heat in it.
Also expandable with all the accessories they make for it.
It's our go to for BBQ, heating and fire.

We are using a Petromax Atago since this year, we were really impressed with the performance, much lesser coal needed then usual and even after burning wood everything is fine. It's made entirely from stainless steel, the construction keeps the outside comparably cool even when burning wood, steel didn't even changed the color... Fire burns almost smoke free and the ft6 and ft9 dutch oven fits perfectly but smaller ones work as well.
Overall I must say that everything they tell in the product description is true. I'm very satisfied with it.

I know this is an old thread but we “upgraded” from a NOMAD grill to a tiny Skotti grill last year and love it. It’s all stainless steel, folds town to almost nothing - you can fit it in a backpack! It burns LPG, wood or charcoal. It’s small so only good for two but they do do a double sized version.
