I figured I post this up for you guys to see. I'm no carpenter and seldom does anything I build from wood come out square and usable. However, in this case, I'm happy with the result.
The materials were scrap plywood and 2x4's laying around from other projects, A couple of d-rings for the cooler, and two lounge chair cushions from a local home accessories store.

The second, third and fourth pic shows how it normally rides since it provides a partition between me and any movable objects. Both seats are shifted forward past the rear of the center console for this picture and the same for when the platform is folded down for sleeping. The fold-able portion can flip back onto the main platform and forms a small recessed shelf as seen in a pic farther down. The height of the platform needed to be such that I could store both cushions underneath and still have room to add a full extension drawer of about 35" on the drivers side. (i'll post that when its done).

When in sleep configuration, pics five & six, I can position the rear of the front seats to allow for full extension sleep or for reclined sitting so as to watch movies or read. Both rear door windows have screening and USB fan plugs nearby for cross ventilation. We are still working on ideas for a full screen for the rear door. BTW, the full length of the bed is 65 inches.

On the rear door, I removed the original LR door skin and attached a new wood panel and the Front Runner drop down table from a Jeep Wrangler. Still need to install a utensil / knife holder, fire extinguisher, overhead light, and bottle opener.
