Took my stock 3rd gen 4unner out to the Barney Riley hot springs this weekend. Decided to take Leviathan Mine Rd to get there instead of the usual China Springs Rd that most people take. The trail was much more washed out and rocky than I remember at the beginning of last winter.

We were there a couple years ago and the trail was very rough - our book said it was a moderate but even with 33s, rear locker, and ~4" of lift, our old TJ scraped a lot. Great trail but was long/grueling.

Which entrance did you take? Leviathan Mine Road or China Springs Road?
