Any good trails/ forest roads to explore by baker lake? Not looking into doing anything too hard core, just looking to explore the area.

I will watch this thread closely for the same information.
I go to a location near Dock Butte/Blue Lake to hike.
I will post the link to the hike because the Forest Service Roads to get there are beautiful with a great view of Mount Baker.
FS roads ends at trail head for the hiking trail around the 4000ft level I think. Road narrows with steep drops and plenty of pull offs to enjoy the views.

Just a quick note, FS 1230 that takes you to the trail head is a gravel and considered single track I belive. It may not yet open due to snow.

Well I couldn't make it, right as I pulled out of Burlington my rig started to over heat, I was able to make it home after I let it cool down.
Heading to Baker lake area Thursday camping through Saturday morning hoping to find some good trails and good camping spot

Not a whole lot just a bunch of dead end fire roads however check out slate peak highest driving road in Washington 7500'
