A DEER! what's that? Here in CA we don't have great wildlife like you guy. Here in the Valley I'm lucky to see water. Nice deer.

Spent the evening @ Tuckahoe WMA in Sylvania, GA to watch the eclipse and go on a hog hunt. Roommate shot a 150+ lb. boar.
Many of the roads are flooded and gated due to the height of the Savannah River.

I just wish I had my 4runner in Alaska. The old Honda Pilot was certainly pushed to her limits. Either way, we were still enjoying the great outdoors!!!!!
Thank you, It was such an amazing hunt. Dropped off by float plane in the middle of nowhere for 6 days.....there is nothing like it!
My brother and I did a Dall Sheep hunt in Alaska. Here’s a pic where I camped one night.
Oh yea! Not much shelter up there, lol. Beats hiking down every night (and sometimes that's not much better anyway). Sweet pic!
I grew up Hunting in Northern California. My wife and I both hunt. Mainly Blacktail and pigs here. We do go out of state off and on to hunt Mule Deer and Elk.
I've taken a lot of Blacktail, looking to get a whitetail. Got a nice Mule deer (28" 5x5) in Idaho when I was hunting with my horse there.

Are you still up in the Tahoe area? I took and nice 4x4 up in the Tahoe City area years ago.
My wife's Idaho elk a couple years ago.

My whole reason for overlanding is because of hunting! I bow hunt mostly. Awesome thread.
