Always tinkering

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

I confess, my neighbors & friends think I’m a bit crazy/anal/ you name it. I’m always tinkering with stuff. Hey, tinkering takes a lot less money & time than when something fails in the field. After our last trip the weak little rubber cushions quit doing their job and the propane bottle left it’s mark on the roof rack. Easily solved with a dimpled rubber mat, a drill, bolts, nuts and fender washers. Install the mat dimple down. No more steel on aluminum. Nice DIY solution! I love the concept of “make it better/ make it your own”.
