I had a Factor 55 winch shackle on my Amazon Christmas list. They were on sale for 129 or so. Yet again Santa was a miserable failure. Last week then I went to my shopping cart to order one. The price went back up to $150 plus. So I went on line and discovered Agency 6 products. There are subtle differences between the 2 product lines and I prefer the Agency 6 using a cap with hex head machined screws versus the snap ring on the Factor 55. The A6 also conceals the winch line from UV exposure, whereas the F 55 has an optional cover. The F55 gear is anodized, the A6 gear is powder coated, because of that I ordered the raw version. At a price point of $119 the A6 winch shackle is hard to beat and it looks a lot better than the stock Warn hook.

Looks good. When I bought my F55 Flat Link about 10 years ago, to my knowledge there were no alternative products available and I am really very satisfied with the F55 link.

I shall do that. I’ve always had a weak spot for the new kid on the block, especially when they produce what looks to be a top shelf product at a fair price point.
